Mycena pura Lilac Bonnet
Here found on soil in the presence of Oak & its leaf litter, it is also found with
other broadleaved and conifer trees. Trooping and in clustered groups, it can
occur as solitary specimen. The cap is initially bell shaped subsequently
flattening with a central mound topped with a small central depression, the
colour range is quite variable. The flesh in the cap is white.

The stem is white, can be hollow,
vertically fibrous, cylindrical, + equal,
2 to 3 times as tall as cap diameter,
smooth, with a slight swelling at the
base but not club like, the flesh colour
matches that of the gills.
Gills are pink-lilac moderately distant,
adnexed with a decurrent tooth, the
edge has a saw tooth profile.
The spore print is white. The spores
