Members Update 25th October

Spot the Bee Fly etc. etc. Update 25th October 2021

“Hi All.   Took these on my phone when walking the boys this morning. Is the plant a Leycesteria formosa Mike C? If so, it’s growing in the front garden of a house at Heatherside.  Regards, Graeme”

Yes, Graeme, - correct!

Graeme took this photo of the Wellingtonia Ave whilst out walking the dogs

Graeme is our only contributor this time and so I have managed to find a small selection of mine to make up the numbers.

First up is this lovely sunrise taken from our front door last Monday

We saw this very large Bumble Bee yesterday in School Lane, Bagshot, it was buzzing around amongst the leaf litter on the verge beneath the hedgerow. We thought it was rather late to still be active…….?

Then, this morning Jenny noticed we had some flowering Clematis, it doesn’t normally flower at this time of year?

Neither does this Honeysuckle, also observed this morning!

Well, I’m afraid that’s all we have this time, please keep us in mind when you are out and about, whether out walking or in your garden, - even some autumn colours for example.

Regards to all,     Mike and Jenny
